Upcoming Piha Workshop | 18 - 19 April | Limited Spaces
What This Workshop Is
This is a structured, educational couples workshop grounded in the internationally recognised Getting the Love You Want process.
Over one focused weekend in Piha, you will learn and practise practical tools that help you communicate with clarity, reduce defensiveness, and understand the patterns that shape your relationship.
This is not open group therapy. You will not be asked to share personal details publicly. All personal work is done with your partner. The environment is private, contained, and professionally guided.
In just one weekend, couples often gain the equivalent of several months of weekly sessions. The structure allows you to step out of daily life and into intentional work, without distraction.
You leave with language, tools, and a shared understanding you can continue to build on at home.

Who This Couples Workshop Is For
This workshop is for couples at many different stages of their relationship. Some are in the early years and want to build strong foundations before patterns become entrenched. Others have been together for decades and sense that communication has become harder than it needs to be. Some feel stuck in the same argument, repeating the same cycle without knowing how to interrupt it. Others are navigating distance, betrayal, or uncertainty and want clarity about whether and how to move forward.
It is also very common for one partner to initiate attending while the other feels more hesitant. That is normal. You do not both need to feel equally enthusiastic at the start. What matters is a willingness to show up and engage with the structure of the weekend.
You do not need to be in crisis to attend, and you do not need to pretend everything is fine. This workshop is for couples who want to understand what is happening beneath the surface and who are open to learning how to respond differently.
Kia Ora!
I'm Stefanie,
I have worked alongside individuals and couples for over twenty five years, supporting them through conflict, transition, and reconnection. My work is grounded in internationally recognised relationship models, including Imago and Gottman, and shaped by decades of direct clinical experience.
As an accredited clinical supervisor and Certified International Imago Relationship Therapist, I bring a structured and steady approach to this workshop. My role is not to take sides, but to create a safe and focused environment where both partners feel heard, understood, and guided toward meaningful change.

What You Will Learn
Over the weekend, you will learn practical tools that change the way you communicate and respond to one another.
You will learn how to slow conversations down so they do not escalate. You will practise a structured dialogue process that helps each partner feel heard rather than defended. You will begin to understand how early experiences shape attraction, conflict, and the patterns you repeat without meaning to.
You will learn how to move from blame to curiosity, from reactivity to responsibility, and from gridlock to clarity. Many couples leave with a renewed sense of empathy, deeper emotional safety, and a shared language they can continue using long after the workshop ends.
This is not about quick fixes. It is about equipping you with tools you can return to when things become difficult, so the relationship grows rather than fractures under pressure.
